In the summer of 2013, Sara and her family attended a graduation party of a family friend. Shortly after arriving, they sat at one of the open tables outside where a young man happened to be seated by himself. Sara's dad struck up a friendly conversation with this nice young man through which the young man introduced himself as Chris. This led to Sara asking Chris to play some rounds of corn hole. After a fun-filled night and watching some fireworks, Chris sent Sara a Facebook request later that evening and the rest is history!
